Gingerbread Cookie Ornament



Hi! Crafters!

This craft is easy and children always like to make cookies so this will be one they will like because it using cookie cutters and paint.

Gingerbread Cookie Ornament





Materials:  a roll of cork, non-adhesive kind; cookie cutter; brown Folk Art paints; paint brush; white dimensional paint; Chalk or pencil; hole punch, ribbon your choice of color, scissor or crafting knife

Directions: 

Use a cookie cutter to trace the outline of the cookie and then cut it out.

Use a combination of brown Folk Art paints and paint the cork on both sides.

Use some white dimensional paint (Americana Writer) for the icing.  You could mark with chalk or a pencil first.

Use a regular hole punch to punch a hole at the top of each ornament, then strung them with ribbon.
