Cat Crafts book review

Hi! Craters!

I usually do crafts projects to make for our furry friends for Christmas; but, I did not have time this year. So, when I order books from the library looking for this crocheting hat I order this one and one for dogs. The next blog will have the dog projects.

Both books are part of a series for kids titled “Kids can do it”.

“Cat Crafts” by Linda Hendry publisher Kids Can do it Press, Ltd., in 2002.

There are 17 projects in this book. Again, I picked out eight projects to discuss.  Starting on pages 6 and 7 titled “Spider Cat”; on pages 10 and 11 titled “Scratch Pad”; on pages 14 and 15 titled “Pussycat placemat”; on pages 16 and 17 titled “Catnip Fish”; on pages 22 and 23 titled “Switch plate cover”; on page 26 and 27 titled “Crazy Cat earrings”; on pages 28 and 29 titled “Cat Pencil Case”; on pages 36 and 37 “Alley-cat bookends”.

One projects I probably will be doing this summer; because, I will have a lot of yarn balls to use up which is “Spider Cat”, which I will donate them to our local animal shelter. And maybe the other one is making the “Switch Plate Cover” for my son end of school/now college gift. I will take pictures of “Crystal” his cat and made one for his room and one for his bathroom.

Share your ideas on this or anything here on the blog either here or e-mail me at sandi_tipple@yahoo.com.  I look forward to hearing from you!
