Onion-Shaped Aluminum Ornaments

Hi! Crafters!

This project is an oldie from back in the Atomic Age meaning flammable aluminum trees, onion-shaped ornaments and tinsel made from lead.

Onion-Shaped Aluminum Ornaments

Materials:  (1) box of glass onion-shaped ornaments, can of metallic chrome spray, Painter’s tape

Instructions:

Starting in the middle of the ornament, wrap your painter's tape around the top half of the ornament. Make sure the edge is flush and free of bubbles, and then wipe off any greasy fingerprints you might have left behind.

Grab the spray paint and the ornaments and head to a well-ventilated area.

Spray the exposed half with two to three light coats and allow drying.

Finish Project

Remove the tape and admire your handiwork.
