Christmas Earrings to Make

The first pair of earrings are very easy to make and really cute looking a teen might want to me some for her BBF for Christmas.

15 Minute Snowflake Earrings

Materials:  Snowflake-shaped felt ornament; Jewelry Supplies (jump rings, earring hooks. Rhinestones (of the same color as the felt ornament), Good, sharp scissors, and E6000

Cut and trim properly. (See below)

Stick your rhinestones where you think it would be ideal, with E6000 or a similar strong adhesive.
Add your jewelry hardware.

Mixed Metal Snowflake Earrings

Materials:  2 gold snowflake charms, 2 silver "Peace" charms (the same diameter as the snowflakes), 4 milky white teardrop crystals, 2 champagne teardrop crystals,     6 x 6mm gold AB Crystal rondelles, fine gold chain, 6 gold head pins, 4 x 4mm gold jump rings, 2 x 6mm gold jump rings, 2 gold earring wires

Tools: round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, flush cutters

Cut three lengths of chain: 18mm (3/4"), 33mm (1.5") and 27mm (1 1/8"). String the champagne crystal and a rondelle on a head pin.
Create a wrapped loop, attaching it to the medium length of chain. Repeat with the other two crystals and chains.
Attach the three chains to a 4mm jump ring with the longest chain in the middle.
Open the 6mm jump ring and hook on the snow flake, the peace charm and the chains.
Connect the jump ring to the earring wire with the remaining 4mm jump ring and then make a second earring to match.

Share your ideas on this or anything here on the blog either here or e-mail me at  I look forward to hearing from you!
