Crocheting ideas to make



I have not posted crocheting project or how to crochet in a long while; so, here are some projects to make.  Some are for beginner other are to individual who are experienced.

General Abbreviations:
Approx = Approximately.
Ch(s) = Chain(s).
Dc = Double crochet.
Dcfp = Yoh and draw up a loop around post of next st at front of work inserting hook from right to left. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.
Rep = Repeat.
Rnd(s) = Round(s).
Sc = Single crochet.
Sl st = Slip stitch.
Sp(s) = Space(s).
Yoh = Yarn over hook.

Flower Dishcloth Crochet



Materials:  Lily® Sugar‘n Cream® Super Size (Solids: 4 oz; 200 yds; Ombres: 3 oz; 150 yds), Blue Version:  Main Color (MC) (Mod Blue) 1 ball Contrast A (Yellow) 1 ball, Multicolored Version: Main Color (MC) (Over the Rainbow) 1 ball, Contrast A (Yellow) 1 ball
MEASUREMENT Approx 9" diameter.
Note: 1 ball of MC and A will make 2 Dishcloths.
Size U.S. H or 8 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
GAUGE
13 sc and 14 rows = 4"

Directions:
With A, ch 4. Join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.
1st rnd: Ch 1. 8 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. Working in back loops only, 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 16 sc.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 sc in first sc. Ch 1. (1 sc in next sc. Ch 1) 15 times. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
4th rnd: Join MC with sl st to any sc. Ch 3 (counts as dc). Working in both loops, (1 dc. Ch 2. 2 dc) in same sc as last sl st. Miss next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next sc. Miss next ch-1 sp. *(2 dc. Ch 2. 2 dc) in next sc. Miss next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next sc. Miss next ch-1 sp. Rep from * 6 times more. Join with sl st to top of ch 3.
5th rnd: Sl st in next dc and ch-2 sp. Ch 3 (counts as dc). (2 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in same sp as last sl st. Ch 1. Miss next 2 dc. Dcfp in next dc. Ch 1. Miss next 2 dc. *(3 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp. Ch 1. Miss next 2 dc. Dcfp in next dc. Ch 1. Miss next 2 dc. Rep from * 6 times more. Join with sl st to top of ch 3.
6th rnd: Sl st in next dc. Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in next dc. (2 dc. Ch 2. 2 dc) in next ch-2 sp. 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. Ch 1. Miss next dc and ch-1 sp. Dcfp in next dc. Ch 1. Miss next ch-1 sp and dc. *1 dc in each of next 2 dc. (2 dc. Ch 2. 2 dc) in next

each of next 3 dc. Ch 1. Miss next dc and ch-1 sp. Dcfp in next dc. Ch 1. Miss next ch-1 sp and dc. Rep from * 6 times more. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off.


Forget-Me-Not Crochet Kitchen Ensemble



Materials:  Lily® Sugar n' Cream® yarn:, 1 ball Cornflower Blue (A), 1 ball Ecru (B),     size H-8
GAUGE 13 sc and 14 rows = 4"

DISHCLOTH: 9 1/2" diameter.

DIRECTIONS:
***With A, ch 5. Join with sl st to form ring.

Rnd 2: Ch 4. *(Yoh) twice. Draw up a loop in same sp as last sl st. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.  Rep from * twice more. Yoh and draw through 4 loops on hook? Cluster made.
Ch 5. Sl st in same sp as last sl st. **Miss next sc. Sl st in next sc. Cluster in same sp as last sl st. Rep from ** 3 times more. Miss last sc. Sl st in same sp as first cluster. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join B with sl st to top of any cluster. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. *Ch 4. 1 sc in sp between petals.
Ch 4.** 1 sc in top of next cluster. Rep from * to ** around. Join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 4: Sl st in next ch-5 sp. Ch 2 (counts as hdc). 4 hdc in same ch-5 sp as last sl st. *5 hdc in next ch-5 sp.
Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first hdc. 50 hdc.***

Rnd 1: Ch 1. 10 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc. 10 sc.


Rnd 5 & 6: Ch 2 (counts as hdc). *1 hdc in next hdc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first hdc.
Rnd 7: Ch 2 (counts as hdc). *2 hdc in next hdc. 1 hdc in next hdc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first hdc. 75 hdc.
Rnd 8: As 5th rnd.
Rnd 9: Ch 2 (counts as hdc). 1 hdc in next hdc. *2 hdc in next hdc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc.
Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first hdc.
Rnd 10: As 5th rnd. Join A with sl st at end of rnd.
Rnd 11: With A, ch 1. 1 sc in each hdc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
HOTPAD: 8 1/2" diameter.
***With A, ch 5. Join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1. 10 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc. 10 sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 4. *(Yoh) twice. Draw up a loop in same sp as last sl st. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Rep from * twice more. Yoh and draw through 4 loops on hook? Cluster made.
Ch 5. Sl st in same sp as last sl st. **Miss next sc. Sl st in next sc. Cluster in same sp as last sl st.
Rep from ** 3 times more. Miss last sc. Sl st in same sp as first cluster. Fasten off.



Place Mat & Coaster Set



Skill Level 2: Some experience necessary

Materials:    1 skein Red Heart Eco-Cotton Blend yarn: Almond or Vanilla Size G-6 crochet hook
GAUGE: 18 sts = 4"; 12 rows = 4" in pat.

Directions:
PLACE MAT: Ch 68.
Row 1: (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn nbsp; 67 sc.
Row 2: Ch 3, skip first sc, dc in next sc; * skip next 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, dc in first skipped sc (insert hook from the front while keeping thread at the back of the work as usual nbsp; this second dc will
enclose the first dc) nbsp; crossed double made; repeat from * to last 2 sc; dc in last 2 sc; turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st and space across; sc in top of ch-3; turn.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until 33 rows in all are completed, end Row 3; do not turn at end of last row.
Border-Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 49 sc down side to corner, ch 2, work 67 sc across lower edge to next corner, ch 2,
work 49 sc up next side to corner, ch 2, work 67 sc across top edge, ch 2; join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, * ch 4, skip next 2 sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * to corner; ch 3, sc in ch-2 space **,
ch 3, sc in next sc; repeat from * around, end at **; ch 1, hdc in first sc to join and form last space.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc over hdc, ch 3, * sc in next space, ch 3; repeat from * around; join to first sc.
Rnd 4: Sl st in next space, ch 1, sc in same space; holding
back last loop on hook, 2 dc in next space, yo and draw thread through al 3 loops on hook nbsp; cl (cluster) made;
[ch 2, cl in same space] twice, * sc in next space, (cl, [ch 2, cl] twice) al in next space; repeat from * around;
join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
COASTER: Ch 14. Work same as Place Mat over 13 sts for 9 rows.
Work Border same as for Placemat working 13 sc across each side between ch-2 at corners on Rnd 1.



Pink and Green Yarn Ball Bracelet


Materials:  Chain, Pink faceted beads, Pink crackle beads, Glass flower,  Silver bead cap, Silver bead cap, Silver charm leaves, Silver jump rings,     Silver fancy headpins, Silver headpins, Lobster claw, Spacers, Pink seed beads, 20 gauge wire green, Round nose pliers, Flat nose pliers, and Wire cutters

Directions:
Start by cutting a length of chain for your wrist.
Wrap 3 12 mm wooden balls with floss. Put a 10mm bead cap on either end. Slide headpin through ball and form a fancy loop on end, attaching to chain with jump ring.
Wrap wire around round nose pliers and attach glass flower at one end. Add a daisy spacer and make a simple loop at the other end. When finished, attach to chain with jump ring.
Add a single medium jump ring on the leaf and attach to chain. Make 4 leaves.
Slide one bead cap, one 6mm pink bead and another bead cap onto a headpin and form a fancy loop. Attach to chain with jump ring. Make 5 beads.
Slide one seed bead, one 5mm pink crackle bead onto a headpin and form a fancy loop. Attach to chain with jump ring. Make 4 beads.
Attach lobster claw with jump ring and then attach another jump ring to the other end of the bracelet.
