My version of the Pet Bed using an old Sweatshirt

This is my version of the pet bed I posted on October 28th which was DYI Dog Bed.  Here, I substituted a child sweat shirt and used foam for the sides and arms areas.

Directions:

Lay out the shirt front toward you then using small Velcro tabs at the collar Velcro shut this area as shown below:

Cut foam strip to fit from the tip of one arm to the tip of other arm as shown below.  I used left over pieces of foam so mine foam overlap in the neck area.

At the bottom I used Industrial Velcro tabs to close the bottom of the shirt.

Stuff the pillow in middle of the shirt and Velcro close.

Again, I used the small Velcro strips to close the area where an individual’s hand would come out to lock the arms together closing the bed.

Finished!!!!

Share your ideas on this or anything here on the blog either here or e-mail me at stipple@verizon.net.  I look forward to hearing from you!
