they celebrate it early or at
noon and tell their children that is when it happens. (Lying!!!)
DIY New Year's
Eve Noisemakers
Materials: drinking
straw, scissors, glitter glue, sequins
Directions:
Take a drinking straw and will want to crease one end.
Cut off one side at a sharp angle.
Do the same on the other side to create a pointed end. This
will be the end you blow from to make the screeching noise.
Options:
One can decorate by using glitter. Covered the straw in white
glue and sprinkled with glitter.
Other options are using colorful sequins or also used glitter
paint.
Embellished
Glitter Glasses
Materials:
glitter,
kid’s glasses, glue, sheet paper, feathers, clear nail polish
Directions:
Glue the glasses with the glue stick, then you put on the
stuff glitter on the glasses. And then you put the (clear) nail polish on and
let them dry.
Options:
You might have to use the very hot glue stick and add
frathers.

NYE Party Hats
Materials:

NYE Party Hats
Directions:
Print New Year’s Eve Party Hat template on white cardstock
paper. Cut out the hat you want. Cut the two white slits on the hat tab.
Using your X-Acto knife and self-healing mat carefully cut the
New Year’s Party hat slit –freehanded it but you could also use a ruler as your
guide.
Take apart some curly ribbon bows.
Grab a couple curly ribbons and fold in the middle.
Tie a knot in the middle of the curly ribbon.
Fold and curl the New Year’s Eve party hat, slipping the tab
inside the slit.
