very sick with allergies. I still can’t
hear my head feels like I am in a bubble.
Clover Coaster (Make 4 for a set)
Materials: Worsted
Weight Yarn in white and green, Tapestry Needle, Hook: Size F-5.
Abbreviations: beg, beginning; ch, chain(s); dc,
double crochet; lp(s), loop(s); sc, single crochet; sl st(s), slip stitch(s); sp(s),
space(s); st(s), stitch(es)
Instructions:
Special Stitches: V-st:
Dc, ch 1, dc.
Shell: Dc, (ch 1, dc) 4 times
Rnd 1:Ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 4 (counts as
dc, ch 1), dc in ring, (ch 3, v-st) twice in ring, ch 3; join with sl st in 3rd
ch of beg ch-4. (6 dc)
Rnd 2:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same st as joining, * v-st in
next ch-1 sp, 2 dc in next dc, ch 3, skip ch-3 sp, 2 dc in next dc; rep from *
once, v-st in next ch-1 sp, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1; join with hdc in 3rd ch of
beg ch-3 to form last ch-3 sp. (18 dc)
Rnd 3:* Ch 1, skip next dc, shell in next dc, sl st in next
ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next dc, shell in next dc, sl st in next ch-3 sp; rep from
* twice more, (mark last sl st), for stem: ch 7, dc in 4th ch from hook, 2 dc
in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sl st in same sp last sl st was
worked. Fasten off and weave in ends. (6
shells)
Rnd 4:Right Side Facing, with top of Shamrock facing you, join
White with a sl st in marked sl st of Rnd 3, [ch 2, sl st in ch-3 sp of Rnd 1,
ch 2, sl st in beg ring, ch 2, working back up rnds, sl st in ch-3 sp of Rnd 1,
ch 2], sl st in sl st of Rnd 2 on opposite side of stem, * sc in ch-1 sp before
next shell, (ch 4, sc in next ch-1 sp) 4 times *, sl st over next sl st and into ch-1 sp of
Rnd
2; rep * to * once, sl st in next sl st **; rep [ ] once, sl st in sl st of
Rnd
3 again; rep from * once; rep * to ** once, working in unused lps
of stem starting ch, sc in next 4 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sc in dc across bottom
of stem, around other side, 3 sc in top of turning ch, sc in next 5 sts; join
with sl st in ch-3 sp of Rnd 2. Fasten off and weave in ends. (24 ch-4 lps).
