Christmas gifts kids can make for the family

When I was a kid we used to make pictures for the family my taking cards and painting the picture on the glass of the picture and we would outline in fine black paint. After the picture was dry we would take and crumple aluminum foil and press out flat and put behind the glass the same size.
Here is another one that takes tissue paper and dye cut construction paper.

Stained Glass Picture

Materials: Different colors of tissue paper, dye cut machine, picture frame, contact paper, two side sticky tape, frame

Directions:
Cutting our tissue paper into pieces and organized them into warm and cool colors.
Cut our contact paper into rectangles and added a 1" black border to the sticky side.
Choose a few horses (stick them down first) and fill in the background with tissue paper.
Added a second sheet of contact paper to keep it somewhat contained.
Frame the picture or hang them in the window.

DYI Art Tile Coasters

Materials:  Computer, computer paper, scissors, Mod Podge, cork sheets (you can get these at the Dollar Store), clear enamel glue

Directions:
Use the computer for the designs and printed them onto regular computer paper.  Cut it out your designs and Mod Podged them onto the tile.  Sprayed them with clear enamel and glued cork sheets to the bottoms. Let your bottom layer of Mod Podge dry after sticking on your paper.
Additional items you can use this same technique!!   Mugs,

Woven Cardboard Ornaments

Materials:  Cardboard, scissors, DMC Thread or Yarn

Directions:
Cut out some small cardboard circles, cut 1/4" slits along the circles edge (some have 8 slits, others 10, and I even did a couple 12 slit circles),
Then picked out their thread/yarn.
Make the same design as below:

Or make your own!
