This craft is easy and children always like to make cookies so
this will be one they will like because it using cookie cutters and paint.
Gingerbread Cookie Ornament
Materials: a roll of cork, non-adhesive
kind; cookie cutter; brown Folk Art paints; paint brush; white dimensional
paint; Chalk or pencil; hole punch, ribbon your choice of color, scissor or
crafting knife
Directions:
Use a cookie cutter to trace the outline of the cookie and
then cut it out.
Use a combination of brown Folk Art paints and paint the cork
on both sides.
Use some white dimensional paint (Americana Writer) for the
icing. You could mark with chalk or a
pencil first.
Use a regular hole punch to punch a hole at the top of each
ornament, then strung them with ribbon.
