Super Bowl Crafts for kids to make

First day I have been on the computer; since, my surgery.  It depends on result if I will go through a complete heart, lung and liver surgery.  I find out in approximately 3 weeks for the results.

Football Hand print Wreath

Materials:  a printer, paper, glue, scissors, and paint or construction paper in your favorite team's colors.

Instructions:

  • There are two ways to do this craft. One is to trace the child's hand onto paper and cut out the prints. The second is to make paint handprints on the paper and cut those out.

  • Make eight hand prints (4 of each color).   (or more if you're feeling energetic)

  • Cut out the prints and glue to form a wreath.

  • You can decorate the wreath further with pictures (like footballs or football players).  These can be:
    • stickers!
    • hand drawn artwork by the children,
    • pictures from coloring books, magazines or fliers

Cheerleader TP Roll Craft

Materials:  toilet paper roll, scissors, glue, paper, a printer

Instructions:

  • Print out the template of choice.

  • Colour (where appropriate) and cut out the template pieces.

  • Glue the large rectangular piece on first to cover the tube.

  • Glue on the head and the arms. Glue on the shoes, folding the tabs for a 3D effect.
Glue the pom poms into the hands.

Pennants

Materials: Cardboard, felt in your team colors Favorite player’s jersey number, fabric paint, glue, and Popsicle sticks.
Directions:
Use cardboard and cut a triangle shaped pennant. Glue green felt onto the pennant and decorate the felt of the pennant in your favorite team colors or player's jersey number using fabric paint. Make mini- pennants in the same manner and glue Popsicle sticks to the pennant, personalizing the pennant for the young fans.
