The summer is half way over.
I cannot believe it is July 4th. Tomorrow, I start back to
Wally World part-time. Until I get into a new routine the blog maybe
sporadic. I am going to try and schedule
ahead of time for them to post. Unfortunately,
I have found that sometime there is a glick in the system and it does not post
and I have to do it manually. Maybe I can get Kevin to check it out and help me
out; since, he will be the one home.
Well, back to the important stuff. Before my ADD really kicks
in. (Kevin says I need medicine for it.)
Flag
Shirt
This is the most darling flag t-shirt made from ruffles and
buttons!
Fireworks Shirt
Materials
Needed:
Plain T-shirt, Newspaper, Glittery fabric paint, Paper plate and Pipe
cleaners.
Directions: Start by placing a
few sheets of newspaper inside a plain T-shirt.
Pour one or more colors of glittery fabric paint onto a paper plate. Create a stamp (for each color paint) to
print fireworks: arrange four pipe cleaners in a bunch, pinch the center, then
bend all eight ends over your thumb and twist them together a few times,
forming a loop. Spread apart the ends and bend up the tips, as shown.
To use the stamp, dip it into the
paint so that it's evenly coated and press it firmly onto the fabric.
Once you've finished your design,
allow the paint to dry thoroughly, and refer to the paint manufacturer's
directions before laundering the shirt.
